Hello Tim, I also would be interested to see any mods made for the REVO. I
haven't played with mine much, mainly due to time constraints, I did like
your earlier description of a mod you made to make setting up tapers a
little less hit and miss. The TK bed height adjuster which I was going to
after a particularly stressful day I am pleased to have a good laugh at
these truisms. Keep up the good work :-)

Hi, with regards to a motor drive to fit to your Legacy mills I saw an
interesting discussion on another forum which may be useful to this group.
If you go to http://bedair.org/Tmotor/Tmotor2.html you will find what I
think looks like a good low cost system. The guy, Steve, lists lots of
Hi, sorry to say I was not successful in logging into this event. I thought
I had done it correctly and setup an account as told to. When I came to

Hi, I would be interested in listening in, 6pm EST is 11pm GMT (I think) so
it's viable for me.

Hi, lucky indeed, and I am happy you did not get hurt. It really shows
that attention to health and safety IS IMPORTANT. In my early days I was
working in a machine shop and did NOT think ahead. Simple error of leaning
across to switch off my overhead router and had my left hand resting on
Hi Roger, is it possible you could send me the same file you have for the
REVO. All the stuff I have is on paper and it would be a lot easier to
access via my laptop? I would be very grateful.

Hi, yes I suppose if you talk about an item it is polite to put in a link.
The Router Raizer is USA made so cheaper for you guys and can be found
here:- http://www.routertechnologies.com/fitpage.htm and video clips on
Utube with a Google search. I have, as I said, fitted this to one of my two
On the subject of the router, I have no idea what the PC 7539 looks like so
cannot comment. I use an Elu 177e which Roger kindley supplied a Router
Raizer kit for, which gives me a pretty accurate Z axis control. The router
itself is no longer available but is electronically controlable for the
Congratulations on your new REVO, I hope to see some posts on your projects
and hope to attempt to try my hand anew. I am tied up with house refurb
projects at present but hope to get some time to play in the next few
months.

Hi All, this stop is not the same as the ones fitted to my REVO. The T
shape on this stop is not the same. On the REVO mine is more of a half S
but the principle is the same. One other point is that there looks to be a
washer missing from the lock bolt which would lead to damage on the
Hello Brandon, I can confirm that the sliding alloy plates part 514491 are
from the Shopsmith. The fact you have four of them confirms to me that they
are off the Lathe Duplicator kit (as I have one of these)

Hi, I am sorry to say as I read the thread all I heard was a loud
whooshhh as the topic flew over my head and lifted my cloth cap
off.!! Out of all the stuff I attempt the ratios are determined by the
number of mistakes I make in the doing process. I sart off with an
idea in my head and some vague
OK Tim, I followed the pictorial right up to doing the thread inside
the nut. What cutter is in the router for this operation. I had a
quick look through my Trend catalogue and couldn't find a match on the
profile I assumed it was. (double sided edge on chamfer?) When at my
last show I asked the
Sorry bill I sent my question regards the cutters you used to Tim by
mistake as the pictorial was on his posting. Please have a look and
tell us how?
