Also I've heard of ammonia or other volatile solvents working well in
vacuum chamber or might've been pressurized back in the day when they did
the experiment.
So logic tells me I will try vinegar in vacuum chamber to help with
penetration.

I have steamed wood for bending and found rosewood to be insanely bendable
with heat.
I have bleached wood to the point it becomes toilet paper like and just
melted all the lignin (cell glue?) I guess I can epoxy this
an elementary school teacher received one with stand and router as a gift
rusting in his backyard
I worked at wood supply store and he asked if anyone want it for $300, i
have never used it, but just for the metal parts it's worth more than 300 i
think...
