Hello All,
I'm putting on my co-owner hat for a moment. We have had plenty of new members
that all said in one form or another that they are here to learn about using
the equipment, but I have not seen many ( almost any) questions from the

As I understand it, the biggest problem with the steel rails is the play (or
bowing of the steel while under a load.) As I

until I see it is limiting my abilities to get-r-dun! Well that left me
still in the Wood Chuck world LOL. I do have a stealy as well but have
only used the electronics and drive system for another project. I

Yes, I own a Delta Lathe too. Oddly enough, I bought my legacy first.
Years later, there was an estate sale in my neighborhood, and I saw tools
as I drove by. Needless to say, I left the estate sale with a large Delta

about making Hollow Vessels?
This could be a good topic to look at?

By hollow vessels, do you mean small vessels like vases?
It is entirely feasible to turn hollow columns on the Legacy Mill.

started as a wood turner, purchased a ShopSmith because of space, and
now only use it as a lathe. My business is pretty much built on the
