These are a picture of a big cherry tree and a big cherry bowl that I made out
of it.
The bowl was made out of the crotch at the top.
The bowl is about 3/16" thick.

This is the only way I have ever seen cherry trees in Australia ,see

tree raised to be a fruit bearer seems to be MUCH different than the one
harvested for its lumber.

Hello BillIt was a magnite 1 1/2" roping carbide bit. cut from the top.
The method of cutting is the Legacy's method, (as described in the manual.) I
have a few problems with this method, Its to easy to mess up. Despite my
having to sand all the burn marks out, which changed the look, somewhat,
I have tasted that so I guess I do know a little lol
