I use Windows Movie Maker, importing short avi clips of family members and
converting to wmv thereby reducing 20MB files to under 1 MB.

Bug confirmed (Using windows xp sp2 (dutch), internet explorer 7).
I have a file of 13445 individuals (incl. AKA) and get the Runtime
error 6 at 81 percent.
This is a bug but probably not related to the size of the database.

There is no limit to the number of individuals you can have in the Family

that you don't go over 1 GB because if the file gets too big you could start

Thank you for confirming the bug.
I did not mean it as a serious size limit of file size but that IF you have

Thank you for confirming the problem. Sorry the attempt caused new
problems. Perhaps you could try deleting the file C:\Legacy\grid.usr as
Evert suggested. It should not hurt as a new one will be created. I did not
get the problem you describe.

Hi Sherry,
Deleting grid.usr did almost nothing for me. Waiting to see what comes of
Glenna's new problem. For myself I can get the report using Access2000 so it
is not a great concern to me.

Bonnie,
Legacy reports are limited to one size of pictures. Birth, Christening,
Marriage, Death and Burial pictures are NOT included unless you move them to
custom events like Tombstone. Larger size is available if you want source

Gary,
Make up an event name like Tombstone or Gravestone or Cemetery if you want
to have a burial picture in a Legacy report. Use an event name like

I did a little digging around Error 6 is an overflow error.
Delete all the files from the C:\Windows\Temp folder and delete the grid.usr
file again. Next run File File Maintenance Check/Repair twice. Let me
know if that helps.
Thanks for using Legacy.

I have a g.g.grandfather who married his niece. When I preview the
descendant report of the family (he's 5th generation, she's 6th), I end
up with two displays of their marriage, and a replication of all their
descendants. In one respect it is not an exact replication: the

Hi Paul,
If you check
Don't repeat duplicate lines on the Report Options - Format Tab, you
should only get a repeat of their information, not their descendants.
That should help a bit. I haven't tried this with the combination
you have but it works with cousin marriages.
