Perhaps it maybe possible to take his computer off him as well. :)
I just went to the Unscribe page and entered his email address for him.
If I have done something 'bad' please go easy on me.

Goldie,
In a later post I explained that I had inadvertently entered the wrong name
in that email it should have been *Bluemel* and *not* Bollard so I hope you
used the correct one. Glenn, again, apologies if the wrong address was
entered. Sherry had also unsubscribed Blumel earlier.

Please let the staff take care of things like this. I posted to the list
that I had unsubscribed Glenn Bluemal - if you tried to unsub him you should
have received a message that he wasn't a subscriber. If you didn't then you
unsub'd the wrong person!
I'm writing to Glen Ballard off-list to see
Not to mention that, in the US, unless you are contractually bonded
such as the list administrator, changing somebody else's status by
using their e-mail address without their written permission can be

Is there a simple (or any way) to view/print a list of what
pictures are associated with which individuals? I'm trying to
clean up an imported datatbase making certain the named census
for each individual is correct. In most cases, I haven't found a
way to make the pictures big enough to read
Thanks Brian.

I'm afraid there isn't as but I do not really see why you cannot achieve
your aim. If you go to the source picture there is a zoom button which
enlarges the image. There is also given there the path and file name of the
image
One point though if your images are too big they don't always show
Cathy,
I just did a search, for missing birth dates, and now I noticed I
can't find a Show List anymore?! Where did I use to use it? I am
rolling my eyes at myself. I noticed now there is Create List, and
that does allow you to edit from the list.
I do use Search a lot when I need to find somethi
Sysan,
I don't know where you used to look but try:
Search>Find>Detailed Search
Look for whom: Individual
Where to look: Birth Date
How to look: Equal to
What to look for: leave blank
Then Create List.

Hi Susan,
Show List appears as a button when you are viewing a Master List -
whether that is Locations, Sources, Surnames, Events, ... It works
on the items highlighted in the Master List.
Although it is a kind of search, it isn't available through the
Search function.

Thanks to Ron and Cathy. Cathy, I will tuck you piece of
information away for possible future use and Ron, but of course.
I had been editing for about 6 hours solid - much too long for
the brain to think clearly.

Cathy,
That doesn't produce the sort of list I was thinking of viz. given the file
name find a list of the individuals/events etc where it is used. I am slowly
looking at a reasonable way of doing this in Open Office. At present I can
think of a longish way but am looking for a short cut.

Thanks, Cathy, of course. Was it my imagination, then, that a search
resulted in a list that you couldn't edit from, in an earlier version
of Legacy? (From your memory, has it always been Create a List that
you can edit?) I've uninstalled ver 5 by now.
Ron - thanks but I was doing that (to see wh
Hi Susan,
Yes, your imagination. Search has always (before version 5 any way)
created a mini Name List with edit ability.

Hi Ron,
Isn't it in the right order for you? However, my initial point was
that there was a way to print a list of photos and who was using them
even if it isn't perfect.
It gives Picture file name then lists where it is used and who by -
