Thank you for your reply, Dave.
I can, of course, understand that in English the new version is
grammatically more correct and have no problem with the change as such.
I do use a comparison program, C-Diff, which is how I spotted the change,
but because of the way I change the Legacy html I

Dave,
Thanks so much. Windows told me to go to IE (if it had 4,5,6 and gave no
instructions for 7, which is what I have). IE says it is NOT my default
browser; Firefox says it IS my default browser. Which is the way I want it.
However, when I click ANY link in ANY email, NOTHING happens
It happens in the descendant report and I have Version 6.0.0.155.

Pat,
I rather think that this is a problem with IE7 rather than any other
program. I have experienced the same myself and as yet have not found a
satisfactory way of overcoming it.
Resetting IE7 as the default seems to help but only in the short term and it
soon stops responding to email

always occurs in the new paragraph which states:

I know what you're talking about. I have some wide tabbed notebook

buy more for the Legacy notebook organization, but I couldn't find
them at either Staples or Office Max. However, I did find packages of

Thanks Cathy. Seems obvious when you state it this way. Yes, it is a
wonderful resource, but a bit overwhelming.
BTW, I asked the photography teacher at my school about the TIFF vs JPG
question we discussed on this last last week. She confirmed the group's
recommendation -- for archive photos:

Hello.
I'm new to this programme so hope someone can help. I've printed off one page
of a Pedigree Chart to test it, but on several of the generations, the boxes
overlap. Is there some way I can adjust the sizes of the boxes to allow the
data I want in them?
I've downloaded Legacy v6 Deluxe.

Hi Barbara,
Welcome to Legacy and this list.
It seems that you've immediately hit a known bug :-(
Several possible solutions at the moment.
One: use Portrait orientation for your page. This has less problems
than the Landscape.
Two: include less generations per page.
The chart will/can tell

Hi Cathy.
Thanks for your email and I'll give your tips a try. I feel I've got to make
these charts just to be able to see and clarify names, dates etc., in my mind.
Look forward to version 7 if it's going to make things easier!!
Kind regards.
