Pat,
It doesn't.
I no longer have the original email to which I replied but IIRC I was making
the point that whilst adding the details to the Source Detail would create
extra typing compared with including them in the Master Source this can be
minimised by using the Source Clipboard.

I learned this from a LUG user - Create a fictional unattached person
called "Sources" and add your current favorite source to this person.
(Doesn't matter what item you source; you can create fictional events

I created my original Cline pages and Perryman pages in Legacy 6 Deluxe, and
then this update was created with Legacy 6 Deluxe also. I didn't have to go
into every page before, so I'm assuming there's something I've not checked or
unchecked in the creation of these updated pages.

To keep living folk's info off of reports, you would do this:
For reports:
* Pick a report
* Click on REPORT OPTIONS button
* Select the FORMAT tab
* Near the top right (for version 6 deluxe) is a check box for "suppress
details for living people"
* If you check above box, you also get another o

Pat,
I think I must have read "county" as "country".
To see if a county contained in the Source Detail has been used, then use
Search and Replace. Select "Citation-Details" in the "From where" box; check
"Anywhere in the field"; click start and, obviously, do not replace if found.

In order to keep the details of Living people Private, you choose the
relevant options when making reports or web pages or exporting part
of your file.
You don't need to mark them Private to suppress their details or their names.
The Private flag is for the few people whose details you want to

Six months later you're bound to have over-written the Source Clipboard
many times and that entry you want to use again is long gone from the
clipboard. ;-)
However, if you want to pick up a source you've used before, g

Not that I can see. Although you can search for all those marked
Private, but can't globally edit that feature. You can from the
search list choose Options >> Set Living and from there mark
One thing that you have to be aware of when marking people private is that
only they are marked private so you can have their parents still visible
which obviously reveals their surname.
