I'd like to copy an existing Master Source and paste it into a NEW Master
Source, then edit the new one to my liking. So far, all I've been able to
figure out is that I can only copy a Master Source to the Source Clipboard,
but unfortunately, can't edit it to my liking there.

It is allready in!.
Go to View > Masterlist> Source.
Choose the source and click on Edit.
After editing click on Save and you can choose for creating a new Master
source or change the old one.

person, in my Legacy Tree. As I was entering these,
the program always took me right back to the first pic
in my file, alphabetically, and I had to scroll down
quite a ways to get to the actual group I had to

There is a surname list - and it remembers the way the caps were the first
time you used the name kind of confusing. You can go to (from top
menu) View->Master Lists->Surnames or you can, when entering a name,
click on the little down arrow to the right of the surname field.Pick
