In the Edit Marraige pop up box, there is a tick mark at the very top that
says This couple never married (or similar). Tick that box (check it).

Please note that the time element is in tenths of a second. If you change
it to 99 tenths of a second you have to wait quite a while for the popup.
It is a convenient feature, in my opinion, so I don't have to change to the
child to see his/her stats.

Legacy is doing something strange. When I add a new person, say a wife to
someone, the box that pops up that says Add a NEW person or Link to an EXISTING
person, IS HUGE!!! It just started doing this. The letters in the text part
are about 1/2 inch high. What is up with that? I have done a

You can change the size of that screen by clicking on an edge or any
corner when you mouse cursor is a double ended arrow. Click and hold the
button to drag the screen to a new size. Legacy should then remember the
size next time you use that screen.

There is a utility available from Microsoft to clean up Windows
Installer remnants that can cause this issue. It is available here:

instructions on how to use the cleanup utility. download and install the

This is a problem with the Windows Installer. Even though you may have
either removed the Turbo Tax program from your machine or never installed it
there is still an Installer configuration file on the machine that is
starting the Installer when Legacy tries to open a common file used

phrased it, I could then replicate your problem.

the Picture gallery edit mode the text becomes too small to read and the
font changes from Verdana to something like Times New Roman. If I close the
screen and reopen, sometimes it comes right but not always.

directory, right-click the dir and select from the context menu Group BY
Type | Ascending
Then select your Legacy, Event and Source USR files and cut and paste to
folder on your desktop, then restart Legacy and see
