I've just updated to version 7.0.0.76 and generated a Calendar List Report.
My problem is I have a female who wishes to keep her maiden name and no
matter what I do, her surname on this report is that of her husband's. The
options that I have chosen on the Marriage Information screen are:

Just to say that for some unknown reason, all is fine now. Having gone
through both databases with a fine toothcomb, I have deleted the least
accurate one completely (although I have a backup copy elsewhere) as it

Richard,
It looks as though this problem was missed in the updates. I have tried all the
ways I can think of to get this to work and cannot.
I suggest that you report this as a bug. (Legacy Tab - bottom right.)

Thanks Ron, I'll do that.

Hello Listers

When I clicked on the Master Location List, it has changed to what I think was

There was a difference in the style of the list between v6 and v7? The only
thing I knew about is that there is now a mapping feature, which is
definitely still an option in the update.

I have reported a bug with the version 7.0.0.76 in that when you cite a
Master Source the program no longer stays on the last source used in the
Master Source List after the individual is closed.

John,
I also have just downloaded the newest update, but I do not have the problem
you are having. All my headings are in blue. I can change them without the
screen freezing. I wonder if you should run a check/repair.

Elizabeth,
I am not having this problem. I just downloaded 7.0.0.76. I cited the 1851
Canadian Census for an individual. Closed his individual information screen.
Then I went to his wife, and when the master source list came up, the 1851
Canadian Census was highlighted. I selected it, closed

Entirely up to you. I found it quite a lot faster using Star downloader and I
could run it over night. The more options that people ask for then the bigger

Hi, Elizabeth! The 1851 census was near the top, so I tried one near the
bottom, and it worked fine again. That is really strange. I wonder if it has to
do with the particular event being sourced. I just tested mine in the
Unspecified field. I have both Basic and SourceWriter sources, and I
It happened with a custom event, WWI Draft, as well as name, birth, death
and burial fields. Yes, I use the Basic Source system only. And I'm working
some Wisconsin families, so, as I said at the bottom of the list. It's not a
terrible problem, but annoying as it used to work properly. I'll

I have two sources for an individual as follows (footnote/endnote citation

Number 2 was done with the Newspaper, online, by publisher Template.

John,
I don't know why this is happening, but there are a couple of things you may
like to try, if it will let you, and report back on.
First I suggest that you save your colour scheme using the save option at the
bottom right ie. what you have at the moment. Then click the default button

I'm not sure if this problem existed before 7.0.0.76. I personally don't
remember ever having a problem with it, but my experience with chronology
reports thus far has been somewhat limited anyhow. I've only recently started
using them. I just created a Chronology Report for

Mine will not print out any sources on the Chronology report.
When I try to save the options to print sources, it does not stick - the

There is something going on here that is not correct.

Jennifer Chap,
I have only tried it for one person but the sources are correct and it prints.
So unless both/either problems are due to a specific set of circumstances which
do not apply to my file/person/settings then there does not seem to be an

One last thought before bed - I take it that you are aware that the

Leon,
So your chronology report will not print any sources? Or do you just mean,
every time you run a chronology report, you have to go and check the box to
tell it to print sources, and then it prints them? Mine is printing them and
the check in the box sticks for me so that I don't have to

I cannot get sources on a chronology report either. I can go into the
options and check to include them, but it does not. Neither does the check
mark stick.

I just figured something out. I noticed that the Rosati Family Tree master

Clementina's chronology report for children who had death dates after

Is anyone else having trouble with backing up mid-session? I have tried
several times today and get an Error Reading Individual message. It does
back up, but of course closes on me. I have run check/repair twice and also
logged off Windows and logged back on again with the problem continuing.
Elizabeth,
I just went to FileBackup Family File and had no problem. It backed up fine
and did not close on me. There was no error message.

Thank you Jennifer. It is an Error 91 message which apparently has to do
with Jet Service Pack 4, which I have. I restarted my computer. I downloaded
and re-installed Legacy. Same thing. I'll contact technical support
tomorrow.

I don't understand why it should take that long to download, the file is
only just over 2.3Mb in size. To my way of thinking it should take just over
20 minutes at your download speed.
