That doesn't seem possible, at least automatically. I guess it's understandable
as the children are arguably the main purpose of the parent's lives.
If you don't have many of these children you could go to their Individual
Information Screen and make them invisible.

I was glad to see that others have encountered this problem when moving data to
another legacy file. Definitely, there should be an option to retain the
modified and added dates when moving. Also the indicator as to whether the
data was imported or hand entered should be preserved...perhaps
