This is driving me bananas! I am trying to place a photo into the record for a Celia Singleton. I saved her photo under the file Singleton and subfile Celia Adeline. I know what directory it is in and what subfolders because I checked more than once to be sure it's in the right place. When I

I just found out that the name of the file that comes up in Legacy is SNNBU5~W, but the name of the file in my directory is as I said before, Singleton. If it were not in the Singleton directory on my computer I would think maybe my fingers got mixed up and I typed the wrong name. But it is

Dear Dennis, My husband got up and I consulted with him on the problem. I was trying to solve the problem myself. I couldn't but he did figure it out. We have a Linux with Windows within it so I can use programs like Legacy which doesn't have a Linux compatible program so far, right?

Plus - the scenario - a man has a child with a woman and they never married. This was indicated in the marriage information. However the descendant chart names her as a spouse. Can this be changed somehow to put it nicely, but not as spouse? Joyce Legacy User Group guidelines:

Scott, Vista probably put them in the location for User Documents. They will be either under owner or Scott, or under public. You will need to move them where you want them in your directory and then let Legacy search for them. Once Legacy knows where you have them stored there shouldn't be any
