Kay,
Could the Report Language on the FGR screen be set to something other than
U.S. English? If you are using Australian, Canadian or UK English, "cal" is
rendered as "ber." Why, I have no idea.
Hope this helps.

What file name controls Legacy 7 including County and removing USA from

Example after fix:
Clearwater, Cole County, Missouri
(County is added to Cole and USA removed after Missouri)

Marilyn,
Just wanted to point out that my remark about alternative ways to emphasize
phrases or words in plain text, crossed with yours in the ether - didn't
want you to think that it was directed at you!
Purely an FYI

Thanks, CE WOOD, for your comments. After I sent in my query, I re-read all the
posts hanging onto this thread and noticed that you were asking about Name
view, not Index view. Someone else answered about the Index view (which I
happened to be in at the time...) and when I tried it, it didn't w

I was the one who first introduced the Index into this, but my first
recommendation was to Set Relationships on herself.
BTW, uppercase is often used to emphasize, not to shout. Many lists have no
other way to show emphasis except by using uppercase.

New question.
Is there any chance of a mass photo import with group linking? I've
seen archieved topics on this from way back, but I didn't know if it was
ever going to be revisited.
Thank you!
Rochelle
Hey thanks, that was great advice! I was able to pull the number I needed!
THANK YOU!

Yes, I checked the Prefixes mentioned below. "Calculated" shows correctly as
"cal." I'll try to investigate further later today to see if I may have done
something weird that would affect the output.
Thanks,

Yes, you have to set Relationships for a starting person first
otherwise how could legacy show those relationships?
You cannot see relationships in the Index View in the Standard edition
that's correct but the question was about how to show them in the Name
List or did I misread or missed a mail? N
Kay,
I cannot see how it can be due to Legacy7 or we would all have the sme problem,
and this one seems to be limited to your files.
Have you checked the Prefixes in Options>Customise>Dates? Although if these
were incorrect I would have expected them to affect all instances.

OK I got it to work, IN the NAME list view. And I had to go to "Set
Relationships" under the Tools menu to make it assign the relationships. It
still is a feature of Deluxe in the Index tab view.
Thanks for your help to this newbie...

The strange thing about this is that calculated dates show correctly as "cal

problem before Version 7. Not sure if it commenced with Versi

This one came thru to the list fine. The last one was sent only to me.

I'm hoping I posted this to the list correctly. I'm looking for
directions on how to pull a report on the number of descendants from
one ancestor of a big tree. I originally said I didn't want to

On the Detail Tab in the Name List I now see Relshp Self (for the
starting person in the family file etc.).
I've tested this in my Beta version with Deluxe turned off.
