Leon, I am not sure what you are suggesting here. Joyce has all her pictures in folders in the C Drive, or in their sub folders. This is fine and will work without problem on any machine or o/s. If I was Joyce I would just copy the lot, as they stand, across to the C Drive of the second mac

Hello Joyce What Leon has said makes good sense and may make life easier in the future. Don't forget, after coping files from one pc to another, you can make some 'adjustments' if need be by going to Options -> Customise -> Locations. You'll see the default locations noted there, 4 pathways

Sure it is possible. You just have to recreate all of your photo folders, subfolders, etc exactly like you have on your 1st machine and copy all of the photos to exactly the same place on the new machine. I would not recommend doing that. Legacy really wants all of its pictures in one subfolder -
