Very good Mary;
There is one feature of Legacy that you should know about at this time.
Once you have picked those items you want to display on the Index display,
and have checked the with of the fields you want,
go back to the Customize Index View Columns,
and Save your selections in one of the 10
in your
database
It would be nice to get to that display directly, but I don't see any way to
just Check the Status of the database file..

You can look in the archives for many pro and cons about this.
I am just telling you how to do it...
And you will not find this information in the Help files...

Judie;
As it is now, you would only see events you have
sourced, even if you have added data to other events.
Yes, I would like it to show all events you have
entered data and those you have sourced (as it is now).

Now that would stay one the list when you unclick
the show all due to it being sourced..
Now you would have four items on the source
list.
Do I make it a bit clearer?

How come the fun part.
If you are running the latest MADC and JET service
pack updates,
and the check/repair does not fix it,
then you will most likely have to do the export
routine to fix it.
I hope this helps solve your problem.

Hi Laura;
Try going to the "Edit" Tab and select "Swap

There is a "Unknown" spouse generated when you
attached the children.
That is why the sex is grayed out.
Hope this helps...

Good question, Keith. It is not
* a line like:
* USA|+[blank]
* to remove USA from long locations and
* USA|-[blank]
* to remove USA from short location.
* Of course you wouldn't have the * at the beginning of the line.
Now scroll down to the USA|+USA and remove the "*" in front of the two lines
that have the [blank] in
exclusions and untag them.
This will help narrow down your list even
more
Glad I could help.
