Is there a way to find all Legacy media linked to a particular directory?
When I View the Current List of Multimedia (customize-locations) I see a
couple of directories that I didn't expect.
Those directories have 100s of media in them.
I'm trying to find what media from those directories

If I change the directory structure where pictures are located is
there an easy way to reflect that in Legacy without changing every
link individually?
For instance if I have directories a\b\c\Birth

Thanks JL but I don't think I explained it clearly enough.
My Pictures file (in customize/locations) is C:\Legacy7\Pictures.
I have several directories under that directory, e.g.
C:\Legacy7\Pictures\Birth, C:\Legacy7\Pictures\Death, etc.
I want to move several of those
work that doesn't need to be done.

Citing a source multiple times (with different detail) to the same event
(e.g. birth) seems to act differently
Correct that's not what I'm asking.
The multiples sources look fine to me on reports.
Blah, blah, blah, page 1.
Ibid. page 2.
At least in the previous version. I haven't looked at the reports in version
7 because I can't seem to get multiple entries in version 7.

Citing a source multiple times
I think it's appropriate here. I would like to know that answer too.
And if it's not asked/answered on this list a lot of people (who may want to
know) will miss the information.

What is the meaning of L and V in the L column of the Geo Location list?
I did check the help file but couldn't find it.

Is there any easy way to geo code locations that contain Of .?
I know it codes , , , Belgium correctly but not with the Of included.
I'd like to geo code it as , , , Belgium.
The only way I've found is to copy longitude of the , , , Belgium entry,
Close it, find the Of version, Edit, Paste,
Don't worry David there are probably lots of 'extreme splitter' lurkers out
here.
Count me in.

Why would it be hard to remove version 6 at a later date if you decided to

Not knowing anything about version 7 it sounds like LG interfaces with
Virtual Earth.
So does it also interface with Google Earth?

I'm wanting to copy a source document to a new source and then make changes
to it.
I used to get the dialog box asking if I want to apply changes to all
occurrences of create a new source.
I no longer seem to get this, it just changes the original source.
How much do I have to change
, but I would think you would only get the pop-up if you had
used that source somewhere. If it is new and you haven't used it yet, there
would be no need to ask if you wanted to apply the changes to all
occurences.

to .pdf). The file will be there - and viewable if you click on it. I have
done this with many .pdf files of census records.

David, I do things more like you (separator) than the consolidators and have
found it to be much more functional and easier to change. And I really don't
think that 'many' master sources are any less manageable that a 'few' master
sources.
I started using one master for each enumeration district
