I swearthere are Legacy gremlins laughing at me this very minute !
I sat here yesterday and right clikked that Bookmark icon and watched it
change the Quick Bookmarks name on the right to the currently
highlighted name again and again. I even got out of Legacy several time

Using the Quick Bookmarks is easy with a right clik on the little

I Googled for the phrase "Plural of Census" and got a nice hit saying
the correct plural is 'censi' but it doesn't work well in current day
useage, so its accepted English form is 'Censuses'. Other hits agreed
to varying degrees and then there were the downgrades into

Only one form for all the various years of censuses ? I saw no further
breakdowns like England & Wales, Scotland or Ireland. I know where to
get these online that are blank reproductions
Am needing a nudge in the right direction to find the blank census forms
that can be printed out. I've found the CENSUS FORMS heading in the
Help topics and it tells me where to find it.however I find no such
path in my v7 Deluxe... The instructions are :

Can this be corrected globally or must I find EVERY set of switched

another process I can't seem to find how to do.

Luckily, we are all offered many ways to record our ancestor's names.
Caps, hyphens, spaces and extraneous descriptive words can be used along
with the basic Unknown.
I prefer to know more about an Unknown person than just knowing that I
have zilch on someone who probably existed. I may have
blank. Even if I check 'this person never married'
box, the word Unknown doesn't go away. Work in progress Meg Greenwood

Bob, haven't yet used the spell-checker on Legacy, haven't updated to
the newest version yet. The software I use making documents doesn't

Pat - with Legacy 4, I got a similar error and the same dance ensued.
No amount of 'trying again' did the trick. I kept having to say NO until
it went away. I had felt that re-using deleted numbers was a good
thing, so I ticked that box, seems there was a glitch somewhere that
made it a pain.

Have not found the way yet to locate a person's file by first finding a
city they lived in. I can find the placenames in the list of cities,
counties, towns and all the other 'places'but I cannot then get to
the persons linked to that city.
