be hooked up to the internet until tomorrow. Can he go on line and download
the program to a CD and then load it on the new computer or will he have to
wait until I get on line to download it? I am still using Legacy

Just ignore the status bar, the download does continue and the status
bar will go up again. This has been reported to the programmers a
while ago (for Brian: this is still a problem in the last beta).

I am downloading Legacy 6 onto my computer, and unfortunately I cannot stay
online for the full 4 hours (still on dial up) so can only do it 'after
hours' so to speak.
The download skips to where it left off last time, but from there goes
backwards.

The downloads are really huge. If you're trying to use the Install from
the Web and since you're on dial-up, you're better off selecting the
Download Full Setup, saving that to your hard drive and then running the
install after you go off-line.
It's not really going backwards. You'll find

What do you mean by goes backwards? Is there a status bar that shows
percentage downloaded that starts out at - for example - 50% and then
drops down to 20%? Does it just drop down initially and then begin
climbing after a while?
It starts off at 38% then goes down to about 25%, at which

Lynda,
There's no update to the Geo. You may have a corrupted database. I'd
suggest
going to Options Customize Other Database Maintenance and deleting
the
existing Geo and starting over. Just follow the steps in the Geo Database
Even though I have followed the instructions from the Help menu, I always
receive the following message: This Region Database is an old version, etc.
There is a newer version, etc. Go to Options -- Customize -- Other and
click Database Maintenance. Which is what I tried in the beginning.
