Thanks for the warning about GEDCOMs not importing correctly even if they look like they have. With Error #6, I am given 3 choices: Retry Yes, Retry No, Quit. Retry Yes and No seem to not make any difference at all (I got tired of clicking No after 100 clicks). Clicking Quit closes Legacy comple

I don't know what you mean by 'croaks' but I believe that Legacy has at least two problems with importing Gedcoms. Melody, can you manually open the GEDCOM file using a text editor like WordPad, and simply erase half the file at a time? Then try importing it into a new test Legacy file? Then do it again with the other half, opening into a second test file. Then merge the two files, or simply import from one to

I searched the archives first. At that time, it seems that Legacy indicated that this was due to a bug which would be fixed in the next build. Since I got Legacy a couple of months ago, I assume I got the most recent bug. Does anyone know if this bug was fixed? My bug... I try to import a GEDCO
