We have the pleasure to use your version 6.0 for
keeping track of a local Swedish pig breed (Linderödsgrisen).
We would like to export data from Legacy, so that
we can calculate the degree of inbreeding in the population.
We would like to generate a text file, with 3
columns, one line f
I don't know of an easy way to get this.
You are at a university, so I would guess that it has a computer science
department. Ask a computer science professor at the university to make
this an exercise for the class - or just ask for a volunteer to do the
conversion for you.

Do you have Deluxe? Go to the Index tab. Go to
Options. Create the desired columns. You can choose a
column including any of the notes.
I am not sure if you expect the program to calculate
the inbred %, but you could make a column containing
that number after it is figured out, since it won't
chan
If you go to the Name List, under Print Options you can customize the
columns you want and then export as a .csv file to be imported into a
spreadsheet if that would help.

It seems a lot of Legacy users don't understand the Print Name list functions.
Also, you're not the only one that uses Legacy
for animals. There are others that mention this from time to time :-)
You can do what you want with the Name List print options.
