I think we have to distinguish between a marriage and a wedding as they are
not the same thing.
There can only be one Legal marriage ceremony (that which the State
recognizes as granting the legal benefits of marriage

I found two possible marriage entries for the couple in Kent, England in
1868
Sep 1868 Medway 2a 619 and Sep 1868 Medway 2a 645
