It's not deleting the timelines, just the settings file which seems to be
corrupted. When you restart Legacy and use the feature, a new one will be
created.

Use Windows Explorer to go to the Legacy folder on your hard drive.
To see where this folder is use Help > General Information. The Legacy
install folder will be shown on that screen.

timeline.usr
and/or
chron.usr
in the Legacy program folder?
Close Legacy first.
Your family file is unlikely to be the cause of
this error - so restoring a backup is unlikely to help.

Hello everybody! I was having trouble with the Acadian timeline appearing in
all my chronology reports, even though the box for it was not selected. So I
deleted it, as it does not apply to my family at all. Now it won't display
any timelines and instead I get an error message saying:
