Thanks,

Michele,
To my knowledge, there has only been one version of the Geo Location
Database. Go to Options/Customize/Other and click on "Database
Maintenance...". If the download option is available (not grayed out),
click
There are six files, if I recall. North America,
Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia/
Pacific Islands. Hawaii is in the North America and
the Azores in Europe; so it is more as where its owner
is. This was done so people who will never use some of
these does not need to fill Drive spa
Ok, I must have downloaded the US locations sometime in the past because I
had those. I just downloaded the European ones and so far so good. The
only "problem" is that it is only giving me the city, state and country (for
Germany) and not the local district. Many of them I know but some I do
,
compress the Geo Location Database.
Hope this helps.

Hello Mike,
Here is my uneducated opinion.
They had to start somewhere and they know the US better than
other countries. You can change the way you use it in other
countries. There is no reason to have only FOUR sections on the
location and you can put in whatever you want. That is why Legacy

It seems to me there were several Geo Location databases. I honestly

MIchele,
If you go to this site:

and then page down it will show you this "Geo Database Region
Files".
1.. AF - Africa Region (5.5 MB)
2.. AM - Americas, excluding USA (4.7 MB)
3.. AS - Asia Region (14 MB)
4.. EU - Europe Region (9.5

It already does include Germany. Just checked mine and it lists cities
in Germany staring with "Aabauershaft" and ending with the city "Zyfflich".

Michelle,
There has been no effort at all to correct or update the information in
the Geo Database since it was released two yeras ago. I would not put
too much hope in the Geo Database being expanded to include other
countries. Legacy likes to add glitzy bells and windows, but they do
