Options" button (the one above "View Matches") At the top of the screen is a
box with a "Regions" tab and you need
IMHO, because the IGI for Germany locations are based
on the year 1870 places, you may be using correct
places wrongly? :-) If you haven't yet, you need to go
to the FamilySearch explanations for how they (LDS)
keep track of stuff in central Europe. I saw it a few
years ago, and copied it, remember

I got the same error message over the weekend. However, mine was for the
place as British Isle. I changed mine to England, U.K. and was able to
continue with the search.
