I am a little confused by your example of exactly what you are trying to
do. I have found a variety of ways to add/create/change events for my
needs. As to a copy and change technique, I will go to a person and click
on them to edit, then go to an existing event they have, dbl-click on

Hmm... His method seems to work for me.
I displayed an event census on an individual, copied the event to the
clipboard, closed the event, added a new event, pasted from the clipboard,
added a 2 to the name (census2), and clicked on save. A popup box asked
Is census2 correct?. I clicked on yes,

Having not run Legacy Charting in some time I happened to click on the

Solved. Uninstalled all versions of Legacy Charting, then re-installed
Legacy.
