What about just making the non existent spouse invisible to keep them off

Just a thought.

I believe after re-checking those screen shots that Dave is correct about the
date 29 Feb 1890. Since that is an invalid date, it is not being sorted or
shown correctly. Change it to 28 Feb 1890 (with a possible explanation for
doing so) and then see if things shake out as they should.

In fairness, that particular email with attachments was sent to me, but
unfortunately, and I think inadvertently, copied to LUG.
I am as much against the use of HTML, and, definitely, attachments as you
are, but in this instance, I think any action would be over the top.

If this attachment had been posted on Roots Magic, that person would
most likely have been unsubscribed from the list.

Ron, Why are you suggesting that? It looks as though RIN 55 is the
grandmother of RIN 3.
Me – I’m still thinking :-)
Hello everyone,
I am working on one branch of the family whose surname is

has turned into Giorgi, Georgi, Gorge, George.) In each case,

Thank you Dave!
By removing the date it shows a birth month and year and I was able to
sort her on the children's list. The date was from the SSDI and family
tradition said she also "fudged" her birth date because she was born in a Leap
Year.

Marie,
1890 was not a leap year so Feb 29th is an incorrect date.

Attachments are not allowed on-list, but you can send one to me off-list,
and I will happily look at it. May I ask that you put the RINs after the

There isn't a "Memory" template. Just Personal Knowledge. and it can
be anyone who relates their knowledge to you or even yourself.
It will say "Personal knowledge of" with the name of the person.
You can include their address in your source, but it will be
suppressed in the printing.

If you are seeing "different" data for the same person make sure you
have not entered him/her as two different people. Look for the person
in the name list, are there two different RINs for the same person? If
