Interesting. I did not know there was an option to show Possible not
proved in the children's settings. I wonder how that prints in a report?
Say - a descendant's narrative report?

After trying several reports, it looks like that goes part way to solving
the problem, although it doesn't allow for multiple possibilities for
father identity. In addition, it would be nice if those people whose line

I would almost suggest that there as as many ways of referring to possible

indicate that the link is only a possibility.

I have to agree, we do not need a tool to improve this process.

Ron,
Far be it from me to suggest a less than pristine data set. I do not plan
to publish mine but use it primarily as a research tool to help me add to
it. However, if the prospective parent is clearly labeled as such, as I

I thought that I had made it clear that my reservation was to changes being

The single thing I would most like to see is date-sensitive location

Hello,
Every now and then I see someone mention tagging here.
I don't know how or what that feature is, is it mandatory optional?
By tagging what would I gain?
Should I start to tag my records, if I do can someone explain how it is done?
Thanks

Hi Rich,
Think of tagging in Legacy like looking through a book and putting
coloured adhesive stickers (flags) on the pages you want to go back to,
sticking out so you can find them easily. And being able to remove them
easily when you're finished with them. Like Post-it brand flags and

Designating someone as a candidate for a relationship is common
practice in gen research - and having the ability to include that info
in the software in a standardized format can be helpful to the serious

Tagging is something I learned when I actually took time to watch the video. I
think there is so much more that Legacy will do for us if only we knew. I used
the example in the video to tag people of the age brackett that might show up
in WWI registrations; same can be done for WWII. When
