I have an ancestor who married in 1777 and had 10 children between 1778 and 1795. On only one baptism record (dated 1785) he was described as a pauper. This is obviously not an occupation (they are not recorded on the baptism register) so what is the best way of recording this information

This is just my opinion. You are right, it isn't an occupation so I wouldn't record it as an occupation event. I would probably just put it in the notes. If I wanted to get this on his timeline, you could do a residence event and then add John Doe was listed as a pauper on his daughter Jane

You can see possible solutions to numbered errors by clicking Online Troubleshooting Help on the Legacy Home tab.  Then click Solutions by Error Number and find the number you need.  This 380 error suggests a re-install.   You can first click on HelpGeneral Information and record your Customer
