Marriage/Relationship just like the Marriage Information screen is where
you enter whether a couple married or not.

Hello Cathy, the problem is that although he did not marry the partner his
spouse link shows he had two spouses hence, I presume, is the reason the
Marriage List shows he did marry twice.

Repeat in different words.
"spouse" in "Spouse list" and "marriage" in "Marriage list" don't say
anything about whether the couple were married or not.
They're just reporting couple relationships that you've entered or
implied by adding a child to one parent.

Hello Cathy, I use an external program to print in PDF format the content of a
Gedcom file. That PDF indicates he married both the partner and his wife.
Is there a way for Legacy 8 Deluxe to present the information that he did not
marry his first partner. Perhaps Legacy may need a symbol for Part
Cathy, He did have two children with the partner and one child with his wife.
Children’s names with the 1/2 symbol are correctly shown on both pages.
At the moment I just add a note on the Partners page that they did not marry
even the not married box is ticked.

if you are using another program, the problem may be with that program.
The gedcom should have the information they didn't marry in it if you've
checked the box that they didn't marry but to be absolutely sure, make
the Marriage Status for them in Legacy Unmarried.

There are the Sources and Discussion tabs.
I think you'd need to use Copy and Paste to bring in Discussion. You'd
have to decide where to put each item.
Re sources, FamilySearch have restrictions on what sources can be
attached to.
