I understand from a post in the Facebook Legacy User Group that a
previous version of Crossover (v 15) works better than v16 and details
how to get the earlier version.
A number of Legacy beta testers use Parallels.

Talking about DNA test, in its book Blaine Bettinger mentioned 3 major
companies and 23andMe is one of them.
In Legacy’s DNA record, 23anMe is not mentioned among the available tests.
Have I missed it?

As far as I know 23andMe's DNA test is also autosomal.
Autosomal test results are MB not a few numbers.
I'm only a beginner with DNA.

I am also a beginner.
I received 23andMe as a gift and, reading their documentation, it seems they
also provide results (raw data) for Y test.
I’ll wait and see.

Cathy is correct, as usual. 23andMe's test and the current test from
Ancestry are both autosomal (at-DNA). The raw data from just one of
these tests results

Legacy has a place to enter Family Tree DNA's Y-DNA STR test data.

has problems interworking with the US customers on the "new" system

There are two date ranges that Legacy will recognize.
"From date one to date two" or date one - date two; and
Between date one and date two.
I use the first for the case of a known duration eg. Residence:
Minnesota from 1943 to 1956 (based on city directories for these years)

You have several options. Put Dates into the Help search box and then

I opened the individual's record and clicked on "add record" whicpened the
event window.
On the event line, I selected "electoral roll" from the drop-down and
tabbed to the next field "Description" where I tried to enter "Foreman".

'Legacy Family Tree' in my documents folder. In that Legacy family Tree

Legacy 8 creates the Documents\Legacy Family Tree\ folder.
I think what has happened is that you created a folder called this on
your new computer and then put the folder from the old computer inside
it. When you installed Legacy it used the 1st folder.
