This may be a Windows O/S issue, not specific to Legacy.
Here is a screen grab of tool tips displayed over one of those Marriage
windows. Check if you see the strange behavior in other Windows apps.

For what it's worth, my experience is the same as Brians: tool tips
remain visible for as long as the pointer is over the button.
I am running Legacy 9, build 295, under Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, version
1803.

My tool tips stay visible as long as I leave my mouse pointer on the
button. It does not disappear until I move off the button.
I therefore conclude that it may be your computer setup that causes
this. I am not aware of any Legacy setting that will cause the tool tips
to time out. There is a
I have noticed that there appears to be an issue with the mouse fly over
implementation.
An example can be seen when you move you mouse over the four buttons on in
the Marriage section.
As the mouse moves onto a button you are presented with a QUICK single

I had a similar problem with MyHeritage forgetting about their earlier
subscription offer. After several attempts via email I finally called them
by phone. The first individual I spoke to appeared to be a basic customer
service agent who wanted me to renew at their full rates. After some
I just found out the address. If you log in from a different machine you

Does anyone know how to contact My Heritage other than by phone.
Email or a real address will do.
Seems that they have forgotten our deal of a fixed lifetime rate and
Although I have never used a phone to talk to them in any way, They seem

I back up to OneDrive (I have Office 365 so I have 2TB of storage). I do use
the Legacy cloud backup though. This is how I go back and forth between my
desktop and my laptop when I am traveling. It is quick and I don't need to
sync the media.

I didn't use Legacy backups. I have a lot of free space on OneDrive, being
a long time user. My 12,000 person file plus the media takes about 1 GB.
If you are short of space I suggest creating a Microsoft account for
genealogy and using the OneDrive storage for that account for your
genealogy
For those using Microsoft Windows (all versions) - isn't everyone? - OneDrive
gives you 5GB (approx. 5,000MB) of storage, for free. This has been so since
2016 (previously, it was up to 15GB for free).

This is the 4th update I have posted to the LUG List about the servers. Some
people are still posting questions about it. The difference is that on the
Facebook Group I have the ability to "pin" an announcement to the top of the
page so it is in plain sight. When I post here the message gets lost
There has been much talk on the Facebook Users Group about failure of
Cloud Backups in Legacy 9.0. The Legacy rep announced a few days ago
that the server which provides this service failed and has to be
replaced. She did not know how long the server would be down but she
