Backup you Legacy files, then:
Run CHKDSK /F from a command prompt.
The system will state it cannot lock the drive, and ask if you want to run
it at start up. Say "Y" and reboot.
It can take a while so do it when you don't need the computer.
When it is done try the clean and repair.

Have you run chkdsk on your computer? It might be a bad sector on the hard
drive that is preventing the repair.
Right click on the start button, and select run.
In the run box type chkdsk c: /f
A box will say check the disk on reboot because it cannot be locked. Type Y
to allow it.

business it can be easy to run out of drive letters A-Z.
It just point the drive to a location the \\name.
