I did exactly everything in 8.0.0.595 as I did in 7.5. before. I had

Hope this helps, but we really need to know why about what is happening.

Who can help?
When I created a gedcom file in 7.5 of 150.000 persons it took 20
minutes. Now I updated to the newest 8.5.. and now it takes more than 4
hours to do the same!
Does anybody know what happened? Or could I've done something wrong in
updating???
Thanks for any help!

Yes, but I strongly recommend that you organize your picture files
first and make sure they're named the way you want them to be.
It's easier to relink when they're moved. Difficult to relink when
they're renamed - that has to be done manually by you.
NEVER have two files with the same file name

Hi All,
I want to create a bare bones GEDCOM file to export. Around Jun 30 or July 1,
2011, Wendy Howard was kind enough to post a 2 person plain text file as an
example. She noted that I could preview my file on Notepad. That was exactly my
wish.
