The Flip-pal scanner has been 'temporarily' out of stock on the Legacy
website for a long time. Does anyone know what is going on with that?

I am considering purchasing a Flip-Pal to enable me to scan A4 size
documents. Having made enquiries amongst fellow Genealogists I get the
impression it is not the best.
I know that Flip-Pal is ideal for photographs and small newspaper items
but how do others overcome it's size
I use the VuPoint Magic Wand for scanning. I didn't care for the Flip-Pal

Make sure the repository where you are making the scans allows the
equipment. The US National Archives only allows flat bed scanners that are the
size of the document being scanned. You can't copy a legal size document on a
flat bed that is only 8.5 x 11.

problem with large size documents - they stitch together wonderfully. Also,

When I try to view this webinar about where the speaker starts to talk
about the Flip-Pal the replay screen appears. If I click on replay it
starts over until it gets again to the replay screen. If I do not
click on the replay the webinar goes no further. I would appreciate
