I know this question is really going to be on the top of everyone's
dumb list, but the RIN numbers, if I put them in numerical order, will
that tell me how many people I have on my family tree?
Aside from not knowing Legacy at all, I am really good at researching :)

Not necessarily. It is much more accurate to click on the "Legacy Home"
tab and look at the stat

thinking, lol!! I have 275 people in my tree. I'm 2nd generation
sicilian and 3rd generation italian. My family is not very big.

I have been doing genealogy for close to 5 years, due to medical
reasons I couldn't do any work for 16 months and sometimes I am just
hurting too much to do anything at all. However, I was shown

You can use Renumber RIN's under Tools to renumber RIN's one at a time.
So, if the only one she cares about is herself, that would be easy.
Otherwise, it's one at a time all the way through.

This is an option. You've reset the option to its' default: RINs off.
Goto Options--> Customize. Select the View tab. There you'll find a group of
