I know you don't want to go the GED route on this but you may have a limited number of other options. There are a number of manual-labor choices, though, and I've had experience with those, so if want details, ask. IME no program will do this correctly and automatically. One has to either fix

After looking at your example, I agree that it could well be a problem with double spaces. Explanation: Words and characters wrap differently with different fonts, views, etc. What’s at the end of one line in one view or font could be in the middle of a following line in another view or font.

I would guess this situation was caused by a GEDCOM export that broke the words with spaces at the end of a line. In Legacy, when you export, you can go to Customize of a GEDCOM and break the lines at the end of words and then this word breakup won't occur on export. Many of the new programs can
