Your solution, Ron, is actually going the wrong way for what I wanted,
moving up the lines not down. There is probably a solution for that
using your methodology.
Legacy appears to "tag" individuals for the purposes of marking the
direct lines (bold names and +) as well as colour coding the gran

To get a complete picture, you also need to do the paragraph 3 search for
females. There are more marriages where the ancestry of the wife is unknown,
but there are several in my 100+ gener
generations I and others have, I do hope Legacy will
soon include the ability to tag Marriage Tags to accommodate tracing.

Was hoping to tag the marriages from a certain place in a marriage tag

In Legacy when you do a search, say for all marriages in Toledo you get
results showing Individuals and Ind tags. Even if you fag marriages one at
a time you still can't display them in a list.

Very helpful Ron - there appear to be a number of tasks that LTools

Mike,
An interesting approach.
Do you happen to know if this method would include the pseudo marriages created
when a child is born out of wedlock? I suspect it will.
On this point I am wondering if it may be possible to exclude marriages where a
partner has a RIN = 0. Or maybe exclude those w

Hit Send a bit prematurely - what I would like to do is create a list of
Marriages in one descendant line, and Tag all of those so I can then include
them in a Scrapbook print out for that line so any Marriage Events and

one by one and deciding if they are a marriage I want tagged? Also, in the
