I believe that since I updated to build 412 I have started seeing Children in
the Family file listed with bolded names. I have been all through option 3.8 in
the customization to no avail. I set Use + at the end of name to indicate
spouses and continued lines. the other 3.8 options are unchecked

I have the second radio button in 3.8 set and the second box checked. Only
names bolded are those that should be.

I’ve seen other messages commenting that there is no way to undo
this. You might be able to get around it by creating a new unlinked dummy
person, do a Set Direct Line as Preferred on that person, and then delete it.
