Heeren, The easiest way to fix it is to go to the View tab, Master Lists and pick the Event Definition from the list. In the list you will find Fix this Event Type highlight that in the list and then click the button Show List to see who has the event so you can jog your memory of what the event

A couple of things. Since you have been unlinking people, you might want to check to see how many “trees” you have in your file. This will show you how many unlinked people you have or groups of people (they are linked together but not to your main tree). Go to View > Trees. Click the Refres

Cathy, I solved the problem by unlinking the parents from the daughter and, after trial & error, added the parents in one by one. I tried adding parents but got the duplicates again (BTW... when I ran a search for the duplicates they did not exist). So, I went to the marriage list, found the dupl
