Heeren,
The easiest way to fix it is to go to the View tab, Master Lists and pick the
Event Definition from the list. In the list you will find Fix this Event Type
highlight that in the list and then click the button Show List to see who has
the event so you can jog your memory of what the event
I'm not sure but I think running Tools / Potential Problems report may
show the people with the bad event name.

A couple of things. Since you have been unlinking people, you might want to
check to see how many “trees” you have in your file. This will show you how
many unlinked people you have or groups of people (they are linked together but
not to your main tree). Go to View > Trees. Click the Refres
I'm sorry, I was unclear...these are people who were unlinked months,
years ago. I wasn't unlinking today I was doing as you suggested &
went to trees to tag the unlinked files. Then I wanted them to show on
the Names List. In doing that I found the unlinked great grandparents

details and in the event itself no information at all. But, at least
it's gone now.

Were they really unlinked or did you just need to re-set relationships to have
the relationship show?
I'm not sure how you tagged the "unlinked". Perhaps you searched for those not
related? or did you use the View - Trees and tag from t
Just a thought - if it's only a few people, I put [[unlinked]] in the Title
Suffix field. It's easy to see and easy to Search for.

I solved the problem by unlinking the parents from the daughter and,
after trial & error, added the parents in one by one. I tried adding
parents but got the duplicates again (BTW... when I ran a search for the
duplicates they did not exist). So, I went to the marriage list, found
