Can someone tell me, wheter svg is still supported? And if that is the
case, how can it be used?
I tried both the development version and the stable version. But I got
strange results with both versions.

Greetings,
you might want to have a look at http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Item?id=334

An old version of ly/arabic.ly was included in 2.11.55 which causes all
Arabic music to fail, including the examples in the NR. The correct version
was placed in git on 14 Jul, commit 305c5b9564dbd96b2aaaebc9035f85003a0140c4

Sorry, Han-Wen - ignore my previous message. I just deleted the lilypond
directory and reinstalled from the same download and it is now correct.
This happened once before. It seems that simply renaming the old lilypond
directory and installing a new version causes some files not to change.

You may want to change the default for windows.
I'm not quite sure how to achieve this; if there's a check for windows
which alters the option at runtime,

While I don't strictly oppose to adding new glyphs, I am wondering
why you are creating them. It would be more flexible to have a new

Hi guys,
Yesterday, I did another another bugfixing round (the results of which
are in .55). I'll probably do another one to resolve the
tie/completion-heads issues, but after that, I think we're ready for
2.12. I think this will happen within a month.
I used to prepare releases carefully by
