seems to be in order, so what else can be the problem.
Maybe the LAMP-stack of lilypond.org?
BTW: I am an user who knew abit of systemadministration as a professional, but
networking, I
would leave that to
DF. In the second measure, I need the half rest to
center over the eighth notes, as opposed to aligning to the left like a half
note. Hope this makes sense, and that someone can help!

Hi,
I want to change the length of a stem. I know how to do it but not when multiple
notes are beamed together, e.g. 4 16th notes. SO how can I change the stem
length for notes that are beamed?

Hi,
I am working on customizing some drum notation. From the tutorial I got this
#(define mydrums '(
(bassdrum default #f -1)
(snare default #f 0)
(hihat cross #f 1)
(pedalhihat xcircle "stopped" 2)
(lowtom diamond #f 3)))
It works but I don't know what I am doing. Wat does #f means? or "stopped

There are 555 *eps-files, 92 *ly files, and 184 *tex* files in the
outputdirectory.
Because this error occure more than once, I ask myself if there are any limits
on open files in lilypond-book, or that there is a non-documented feature
(aka as a bug) in play.

s. Can you give me pointers
jow I can indicate the two notes belong to one part of a two-voice system.
BTW this is also true for the other voices, but ther it is rare.

Ok, That solved the problem. As there are no valid RPM for the
development-branch of Lilypond for mandrake 10.0 , I have to compile
everything, so I got the wrong one file to act as profile.
Just not reading the text, stupid & bad boy ;=)
Thanks a lot.

I am attempting to download and install Lilypond from the internet. Every
time I attempt to download it, I get to about 1% of the total and then I get a
message that says "Download incomplete. Try Again?" If I try again, I get a
message saying that it cannot access the server. What should I
send the source and the log of the verbose translation with it.
Maybe you can give me a final hint where to look for, because there are a few
projects waiting to be resolved on this.
