I am typesetting a piece and the stem in the first e quarter note
disappears when I add \slurUp upper notes. Is this a bug? Thank you. Rafael.

I have a Mac 10.4. I downloaded lilypond and I am able to typeset files and
turn them into MIDI files.
I have come to a dead stop in trying to produce lilypond files from MIDI
files. I tried to invoke midi2ly as instructed in the manual:

I turned alaptop I have into Linux ( Fedora). I am a neophyte at this. I
downloaded lilypon and the automatic reader cannot deal with it.* *iI
presume there must be a set of commands or script which will install
lilypon? it is a .sh file.

This happened to me with my windows XP and my Apple leopard: I download tha
latest version of lilypond. It does not want to save the initial test file.
