Hi Julia, You aren't mistaken! My husband and I are volunteer Trail Rangers for Lincoln. We are asked to walk the trails and talk to people about good trail habits like cleaning up after their pets and carrying the DPBs out. I hope people are leaving the DPBs behind with the intent to pick them

Is it okay to leave used/filled bags along our trails? I have always assumed the purpose of DPBs was to clean up after our beloved canine companions AND then carry the DPBs with us off the trail to the nearest trash receptacle. But perhaps I've been wrong all these years? Because I find used DPBs
