It seems to me this is a contradictio in terminis. You want to run a Director projecter, a very graphical environment, as a service which is designed or at leat must be able to run faceless ( services start before anybody logs in). I think you're better off putting an alias of the projector

Hey Tim, On the windows resource kit there is a tool to run any .exe as a service. But can't remember what it's called, at this moment. Make sure you read about user rights and permisions, being that this will be running 24/7 you don't want any unwanted attacks, that's only if this is on the
