I'm not clear what to do with this prblem
I've a text member with following porlperties:
Framing: fixed
Word wrop: No
Editable: No
I mean it is single line dynamic text box. Now what i want to
display one line information in the text box. If the length of
information string is bigger
Any ideas as to how to grab the first frame of a quicktime movie in a
projector. Basically I want to create quicktime thumbnail images on the fly
so that I can change external quicktime movies without having to manually
change the images in the director movie.

I had that problem on my latest dir project...
I used ACDsee to browse through my videos folder and i created a HTML
thumbnail page
It generates thumbnails from the first frame of the QT file in jpeg or
gif format
you can specify the size of the thumb too.

Alternatively, you can also just type %0d. I'd use URLencode to encode the
entire string, or simply type the hex code of the character with % in front,
which is all URL encoding does. If you just want individual characters, it's
simpler and faster to do it that way.
