Hi all, I have a deadline today and I encountered a weird problem with DirectMediaXtra. I have a Director projector with only a mpeg movie in it. At the end of this movie it jumps to the credits the 'wait for cue point' command. I use DirectMediaXtra. In authoring mode everything goes fine but

Hi again, I am using FileIO Xtra, but the file is stored on the local computer. I need to store it on a folder on the server so another user can use it when he/she loads the shockwave. I would like to store modifications made on the shockwave in a txt- file, and then give another person an ID.

Rob, This is completely untested off the top of my head but , try removing the 'pause' from your behaviour and replacing it with a 'go the frame' instead. Actually , if this is a behaviour on a sprite , then you could have a frame script with the 'go the frame' in it instead. Without seeing

on the script sprite of the same frame of the movie, you might want to try -- on exitframe -- go to the frame -- end exitframe this will allow the frame to loop, but it does not effect the playback of the movie like a quicktime movie. you might have to add a back button. morgan -Original
