Then check your message window. This is usually a better way of checking the state of your variables.
If you are passing vola1 as a parameter (hence the subject name), you don't have to declare it global.

Is it possible to play multiple sounds (i.e. soundChannel(1) &
soundChannel(2)) simultaneously on Windows NT?
Also, on NT, is it possible to play a sound on channel (2) while a Quicktime
is playing?

Have a kiosk to create, no prob., but client wants a map of the city with
printable directions from airport to just about anywhere in the city. In a
town of 200 people, no problem...we have a few more than 200 people though
:(

Greetings. I am completely revamping a kiosk at our local airport. The
client has requested a map/database that will display/print directions from
the airport to almost anywhere in the city.
First thought, utilize MapQuest since it is already established (why
re-invent the wheel). Problem

mass-duplication, you had to pay a Fee for each CD (at least that's what
I've been told anyway).
I've searched apple's site all over about Quicktime and have found that you
have to sign an agreement with them but, never saw

That's it! Problem is playback keeps leaving before audio is finished,
cutting off end of audio (short narration audio files).
Using D7 on PC. Have set the soundDevice = "DirectSound" in startMovie
script.
