I have been trying to download trackv63.vmarc from
http://vm.marist.edu/track/code.html but downloads keep failing. Does anyone
know where to get the code for 6.3 ?

I tried to download the file too, from 3 separate networks. The download
dies after tranfering very close to a floppy disk (something between 1457kb
and 1452kb).
I tried to download the Google Drive version, but looks like the file has
been deleted.

The site at http://vm.marist.edu/track/code.html now lists four separate
files. These new reduced-sized packages will work. There is one for the
TRACKV63 MODULE only, one for the older version MODULEs, one for the base
ASSEMBLE files and one with all the UPDATE files. You will need all four

Hello, one month ago I had the same problem. I was not able to download to.
Please have a look at the top of the downloadpage.
You should click on 'Contact Me' and report your problem to James Vincent.
Maybe James Vincent can send you the trackv63.vmarc via email.

Actually it's supposed to be a bug, and is reported to RedHat.
You did get some complaints:

I recently applied the latest linux maintenance using smt and yast2. After

The boot does not complete, and I see the following errors in the log:

We are trying our initial install of z/Linux under z/VM. We have received the

As your's are in the right format I don't think that will help. The files look
identical to Larry's. As it's an install you might want to dial back the vStor

The KERNEL IMG looks thee same, but my INITRD IMG files is a bit bigger
Try reloading the INITRD IMG

So am I to assume that it has not gotten to the Kernel load as of yet and still

Yes, I believe that is what is happening hereif the install code can
not expand the INITRD IMG ramdisk image for the kernel to use for the
install process, it will die.
Hope this helps some.

Since I can't seem to see anything else that may be an issue we will try to
download the INITRD file again. We downloaded from the Server using the PCOMM
SEND/RECEIVE protocol initially we may try using FTP this time.

two files in the reader.

Umm, no. The kernel starts up before anything else, does a bunch of
housekeeping, and then it tries to mount

It looks like the parmfile isn't being punched out. The kernel command line is
either empty, or corrupted because it's
