Moving Root DASD

Hi group. Need to some help in transferring and recreating the ROOT ( / ) dasd device to another dasd Specifically we want to migrate from a 300MB partition and replace it with a 2Gb partition which is already formatted and prepped. Any pointer or how to's on this ? Thanks ... Ben D
